Job Responsibilities
– Manage and oversee the day-to-day construction management of the project as related to both construction works and steel erection in site.
– Responsible for implementation of the scope of work as related to planning, cost control and the final handover to the end user.

– Receive the MSR (Material Supply Requisition) from the concerned department and ensure that it is approved and signed by the concerned manager
– Review the MSR to make sure that all the specifications are mentioned and gather the missing information when needed
– Contact several suppliers, get price offers and compare between them in terms of some factors including price, quality, time of delivery, etc.
– Place the Purchase Order with the chosen supplier and get all the documents needed to complete the process
– Negotiate with the supplier to reach the optimum price with the required specifications
– Follow up on the delivery of the needed items to the site on time
– Create a status report on a weekly basis in order to send it to the project in details to keep track of the materials’ delivery
